 A floating deck of a ship

From the stairs in the foyer there is access to the museum’s café. The café is shaped as a floating deck, hanging from the side of the museum.

The room is distinguished by black vertical bars in the windows and a girder on the ceiling. The massive plank floor emphasises the idea of a ship’s deck, and the maritime mood is completed with the gorgeous view over Køge Bay.
