Getting to ARKEN

Arriving by car
Arriving by car from Copenhagen you should follow the E20 and take exit 26 to Ishøj Strand. Turn left towards the sea. After five minutes of driving you will arrive at ARKEN.

Arriving by car from southern and north-western Zealand you should follow the O4 ring road and take exit 6 to Ishøj Strand. Then turn right, and after a few minutes of driving ARKEN will show up.

Drivers can park just outside ARKEN on one of the 500 free parking spaces.

Arriving by train and bus
It takes no more than 25 minutes to get to ARKEN from Copenhagen Central Station. Take the S-train lines A or E to Ishøj Station. Departing from the Station, bus 128 runs directly to the museum.

Save money if you cross Storebæltsbroen
If you buy your outbound ticket for the Storebæltsbro at ARKEN you will get 40% off. Just show us your inbound ticket for your way to Zealand. We will also give you 20% off the entrance fee to the Museum.

In the summertime you can combine a visit to ARKEN with a trip to the beach. Just around the corner you will find the beautiful beach, Ishøj Strand.
