About the artist



Jesper Just attended the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts between 1997 and 2003.

He has participated in a number of exhibitions, including at SparwasserHQ in Berlin, Gallery Asbæk in Copenhagen (2002), Kunst und Medienzentrum Adlershof in Berlin (2003), Midway Contemporary Art in St. Paul, Malmö Konsthall, Palm Beach Institute of Contemporary Art in Miami, YYZ Gallery in Toronto, Perry Rubenstein Gallery in New York, "3rd Momentum 2004, the nordic festival of contemporary art", Galleri Christina Wilson in Copenhagen (2004), Herning Kunstmuseum (2005), Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen (2006), Perry Rubenstein Gallery in New York, Kunsthalle Wien, Miami Art Museum (2007), Kunsthal Nikolaj in Copenhagen as a part of the U-turn Quadrennial for Contemporary Art, Brooklyn Art Museum, Victoria Miro Gallery in London (2008) and Centro de Arte Moderna in Lissabon (2009). In 2013 Jesper Just exhibited at the Venice Biennale, where his video installation Intercourses represented the Danish Pavilion.
