Katharina Grosse trained at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf. Today she lives and works in Düsselfdorf and Berlin, e.g. Grosse is employed as professor at Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee. In 2000 she was nominated for German National Gallery’s prize for young art.
