ARKEN's architecture allows for full access for handicapped people


ARKEN's architecture allows for full access for dis abled people.


There are lifts by all stairs, and a large part of the museum is on level ground. The café, which is situated on the first floor, also has a lift.


There are wheelchairs, pushchairs, walkers and viewing stools on loan free from the ticket sales desk.


Toilets are located in the basement and below the café.


Accompanying adults

If visitors are accompanied, their companion may enter free, if he/she can show valid documentation. 


Guide dogs
Blind and partially sighted persons are allowed to bring guide dogs.
