Join us for the opening celebration of the exhibition The One I Love, in which ARKEN explores, for the first time, artistic responses to hiv/aids in a Danish and broader Nordic context.

When the hiv/aids epidemic emerged in the early 1980s, it fundamentally changed our understanding of the body, love, sexuality and the communities that connect us. For an entire generation, hiv/aids became an existential reality that left a profound mark on society, culture and art. There is a time before and after hiv/aids.

Save the date: 29.04.27 at 6 PM, when we open the doors to the new exhibition The One I Love (free admission).
