Talk with cultural researcher Maria Strynø and author and activist Caspar Eric moderated by Luka Holmegaard:
The participants are activist and author Caspar Eric, who debuted in 2014 with 7/11 and has since published several poetry collections, most recently Crip (2025) with Gyldendal. He has received the Munch-Christensen Debutant Prize and the Norwegian Bjørnson Prize for his work, and is an active voice in the Danish debate on the conditions for people with disabilities. And art historian Maria Strynø, a researcher at the University of Copenhagen working on representations of bodies with functional variations in art, and on crip as a political and artistic project. She holds a PhD from Roskilde University and has published numerous articles in Denmark and internationally.
Drop-in knitting workshop:
Knit, goddammit! Can you swear on a sweater? Of course. At ARKEN Later, we let ourselves be inspired by Kenneth Rasmussen’s wild knitting and no-bullshit universe—and invite you to learn to knit completely from scratch. Skilled knitting hosts Rasmus Valentino Mandal (@mandestrik) and Jacob (@krejacob) guide you, whether you’ve never touched a needle before or want to try your hand at a motif from the exhibition. You might even end up embroidering a cheeky “Goddammit” onto your next project.
Guided tour:
Jump on a tour like no other when KUNSTVOGN rolls into Goddammit. Together we dive into Kenneth Rasmussen’s wild universe—guided by one of our sharp educators. Among giant knits and yellow shopping bags we build sculptures, mix materials and give megaphone-voice to Rasmussen’s metre-long graphic works. We share thoughts, ideas and impulses along the way. Where the conversation ends, no one knows—but one thing is certain: we’ll find plenty of answers and no correct solutions.
