Experience Robert Zemeckis’ spectacular science fiction film Contact in the Cinema.

The screening is presented in connection with the exhibition ANIMOID. The artist Ann Lislegaard’s sound and light installation A Space Opera (2016–25) draws on audio from Contact, transforming the film’s signals from outer space into a new, abstract sound language.
Before the screening, Ann Lislegaard will introduce Contact and discuss the film’s significance for her work. A short Q&A will follow the screening.

The screening is also part of (POP-UP) Troldspejlet x ARKEN, celebrating the world of science fiction and the stories that have shaped our visions of the future through film, games and popular culture.
