Arken invites children and adults to take part in the Beach Laboratory at Ishøj Beach Park. This year’s theme is: Long Table Feast – Set the Table!

Join us in creating a long table meal using natural materials, in honour of all species as dinner guests. You will receive a table-setting kit upon arrival, which you can use to set the table, cook, build, shape, and come up with new ideas.
The day is all about creativity and offers plenty of fun and playful activities. Which animal, for example, would love to dig into the beach’s finest seaweed stew? And which species enjoys curly sand sausages?
Artist Rune Fjord is the “head chef” and, together with Arken’s education team, will guide you through the activity.
