When ARKEN opens ANIMOID – Ann Lislegaard on 24 September 2026, it will mark the first major exhibition of Ann Lislegaard's work in Denmark. A pioneer of feminist futurism and the use of digital technology and 3D animation, Lislegaard's exhibition brings together works spanning more than 30 years – a period marked by significant technological breakthroughs. The exhibition ranges across media, from sci-fi-inspired animations to sculpture and immersive sound and light installations.

> ELSKED

> Yaqub

Each artist creates sonic spaces for storytelling, atmosphere, and transformation in their own distinct way—from Yaqub's sensual, ambient and deep house-inspired soundscapes, to ELSKED's energetic live performance of pop-electronic music, and Anastasia Kristensen's futuristic, sci-fi-inspired DJ set. Together, they form a musical echo of the alternative realities and speculative futures that define Ann Lislegaard's artistic universe.

Admission is free from 18.00.
