Art is fun – also for children. Therefore, from 11.10.25 ARKEN opens its doors for the early birds already from 9 am–12 pm every Saturday–Sunday and in all school holidays. Experience lots of fun with art when ARKEN KIDS takes over the museum on the children’s terms. Follow the ARKEN KIDS tracks around and get fun experiences with art: Find a new friend – a gigantic alien (6 meters high) by Esben Weile Kjær, who is relaxing while the children jump on the bouncy castle. Children can also take a “swim” in POOL or spot mysterious creatures in Marguerite Humeau – Torches or in Frederik Næblerød’s ALL WALKS OF LIFE.
ARKEN KIDS membership club
The membership club Klub ARKEN is now expanded with a new junior family member – the ARKEN KIDS card: With this card a child can bring one adult – of their own choice – free of charge per visit. You can among other things experience ARKEN KIDS – the children’s take-over of the museum – every weekend already at 9 am–12 pm Saturday–Sunday and in all school holidays from 11.10.25. Free entrance with the ARKEN KIDS card can go around among the adults in the family, as long as the child who owns the card is present every time.
ARKEN KIDS card costs 395 DKK, and gives free entrance for one adult per visit with the card’s little holder in hand. Membership can be purchased at the museum. All children up to 18 years are still free – an adult costs 145 DKK per visit. With the purchase of an ARKEN KIDS card for a child, one adult may come free to the museum per visit. The child must be present every time – the adult can be freely chosen per visit.
